During a skin needling treatment, a pen device with fine needles is used to create microscopic punctures in the skin. The treatment usually requires a few passes over the areas being treated which causes mild redness and/or swelling after the treatment. These effects should settle within a few days.

Some people say its slightly uncomfortable and others tolerate it just fine, describing it as a bit of a burning sensation. But it is generally not considered a painful procedure.

A numbing cream may be applied to the skin before treatment to help reduce any discomfort. Allow an extra 10 mins for numbing to cure pre-treatment.

The treated area should be kept clean & lightly moisturized. Avoid picking at or scratching the treated area. Expect to avoind the sun or using tanning beds until your skin has fully healed.

For optimal long term lasting results, it is recommended that first timers do 4 sessions 4-6 weeks apart then maintain your beautiful results every 4-6 months with a single session.
